A superb flysheet material by the name of Protex® Eco provides excellent waterproofing at a Hydrostatic Head rating of 3000mm. The material itself is developed using many single-use plastic items such as water bottles, this means by purchasing and using this tent you are directly contributing to aiding the very environment you’re exploring! Fully Factory Taped Seams are essential to creating a watertight seal at joins, this works in conjunction with a substantial 6000mm HH Groundsheet to prevent any water or moisture from seeping into your living space. The overall structure and materials have been Wind and Rain Tested to meet and exceed European Safety Standards EN5912.
Vango’s Powerlite Alloy Poles are used to create a sturdy structure which is assisted by the monumentally impressive Tension Band System - TBS®II. Once pitched, you can adjust TBS®II from within your tent, should more difficult weather approach, you can activate the system by tightening the bands. This creates an optimal triangular shape with the outer guylines which is the best design you could have when faced with that challenge. If you don’t need the system it can be easily stowed away so it isn’t in the way.
