The internal space is protected by an outer flysheet made from a Protex® 15.SRN material. Its extraordinary properties offer a 3000mm HH thanks to a 15 Denier ripstop fabric. This material also comes with an integrated colour retention dye to help aid in the longevity of the materials colour. Fully Factory Taped Seams are protected by a silicone coating for the ultimate waterproof seal. A core feature of this fabric is that it provides all of these essential features with a mere total weight of 1.2 Kilos! Progressing further through the Heliums layers, you will reach the inner tent, which is made from a 15D nylon textile. It’s a breathable inner allowing for condensation to pass through and disperse - thus reducing the damaging build-up of moisture during cold spells. To ensure the interior stays dry from above and below, an impressive 6000mm HH groundsheet has been installed into the design. It features a bathtub design that progresses 10cm up from the base of the inner - completely sealing out all excess water and moisture.
Yunan SD70 Poles are utilised in the Gothic Arch Structure for the Vango Helium F10 Helium UL 1 Tent. The Gothic design allows for greater stability and even allows for rain and snow to run off from the flysheet. Each pole comes pre-angled to ensure you get as much space inside the Helium as possible, without losing out on any security when faced with large gusts of wind. The internal space is made much more reliable thanks to TBS® PRO. This tension band system offers a robust triangular internal shape with the outer guylines. This as you may know is the optimal shape for a tent, however, it doesn’t offer greater headroom inside due to the slanted peak. With TBS® PRO you get the best of both worlds with none of the hassle. If you want to use the system, simply clip in the bands and adjust them accordingly, ensure not to over tighten them and only use them when necessary. Once they’re no longer needed, the bands can be stowed away neatly.
