AirBeam® Technology has been the reliable and highly-acclaimed inflatable design integrated into each of Vango’s Family Air Tents for many years. Its tried and tested construction offers a rigid structure that is both easy to set up and extremely durable for camping in harsher weather conditions. This particularly tent has seen the enhancement of two features to its main design: SuperBeams™ and S.I PRO. Having SuperBeams™ instead of the base model AirBeams® means you are upgraded to a much larger and robust inflatable structure, each beam is considerably larger in diameter and uses an advanced material to compensate for this increased size. These beams also come pre-angled meaning they are easier to pitch, provide greater interior room and present the tent with an easy system to allow rainfall to simply run off the surface. S.I PRO on the other hand offers you a next-generation technology that is specifically developed for single inflation, ease of use and accident prevention. Using the main valve, campers can inflate their entire Anantara with their included manual hand pump. This process should take no longer than 8-10 minutes for the average person which is a nice amount of time especially if you find yourself pitching your Anantara in not so fortunate weather. Once inflated, your tent is going to be very stable even during adverse weather conditions, the beams will stand strong against intensified lateral wind speeds and even features an autolocking valve design. This means should you have the unfortunate event of a puncture, this damage will be isolated to the beam at focus, thus preventing your tent from failing under critical damage as it normally would with other more basic inflatable compositions. Overall, the inclusion of the (SuperBeam™) AirBeam® S.I PRO system is a great feature to have installed into your product as it offers superb protection against the elements and is easy to use.
A waterproof interior is a primary concern when purchasing your next family tent, to meet your demands, Vango has used their utmost premium flysheet material for the Anantara: Sentinel Elite. This fabric uses a high-quality polyester material to offer an outstanding hydrostatic head rating of 5000mm, there’s also the inclusion of ColourLok™ Technology. This is embedded into the textile to offer a greater amount of protection against UV light degradation, this aids in colour retention and significantly extends the lifespan of your fabric. All Vango flysheets come Fully Factory Taped meaning they have an entirely waterproof seal, this is helped by the Fully Sewn-In Waterproof PE Groundsheet as this uses a hard-wearing fabric to stand up to some of the harshest terrain and weather conditions. Having a Fully Sewn-In Groundsheet and Fully Factory Taped Seams means your interior is impervious to heavy rainfall, but what about when you need to get electricity into the tent for your lighting and utilities? Won’t you have to have an unsealed flysheet door to run cables inside? In this tent, you don’t have to worry about letting the draft and rainfall in as there are plenty of high and low cable entry points for your mains access. There is absolutely no chance of your family holiday being ruined by the elements.
The interior is large and enlightened thanks to Villa Construction and Climate Pro Windows. Having upright sidewalls means you get much more room towards the edges of your living space, this also provides effective bracing against gusts of lateral wind. To assist the interior in staying upright, the east-to-use TBS® II has been installed on your main beams. The tension band system is designed to create an internal triangular shape with the outer guylines, thus providing additional integrity when the weather takes a turn for the worst. But what about when the weather is great and you want to enjoy your time away inside? Well, the large window panels offer plenty of illumination during the day and their 3-layer construction means they can be zipped away to reveal a large mesh panel - this offers effective circulation which is aided by Vango AirZone. This design means there are various panels that offer ventilation throughout the interior, this reduces the likelihood of moisture building up to become condensation. The main living space is extended by a built-in front awning, this area is perfect for storing your equipment with cover, or for relaxing in the shade on a beautiful summers day. Towards the rear of the Anantara is the King Size Bedroom offering up to 70cm of width per person. This inner utilises a premium-darkened fabric as part of its Midnight Design. This material blocks out all light that may disturb sleepers in the night such as the early morning sunrise or stray torchlight in the night.
