For this season, the Movelite T2R Low Driveaway Awning has received many upgrades and enhancements to increase its effectiveness and practicality. It still remains a lightweight and compact side-mounted awning and it also has the highly-acclaimed Oxygen Air-Frame system integrated into the design to offer stability during adverse weather conditions. The inflatable structure is created by robust air beams that are easily inflated with your included manual hand pump. Oxygen Air-Frame is a highly durable system that is constructed with high-pressure twin tubing - this design offers high-performance air delivery to the entire beam and also accommodates up to 4 PSI of pressure for a rigid structure that will stand strong during adverse weather conditions. To inflate the awning, simply attach your included pump to the Dynamic Speed Valves and being to inflate each beam in less than a minute, perfect for quick pitching during a weekend vacation where you don’t want to spend too much time pitching/packing and instead want to enjoy your relaxing holiday. Next to these swift-inflation valves are the Intelligent Frame Relief Valves, these are unique contraptions installed into the beams that automatically exhale air when instability occurs. An example of this system being put to the test is when you have inflated your beams and then temperatures rise throughout the day, when temperatures rise, air expands - this creates overpressure and can lead to damage or even critical failure if left untreated but luckily this technology has your back. It should be noted that after the valve has removed air from beams you will have to top them back up once temperatures regulate back to normal. A 240HDE flysheet fabric is integrated into the design, this presents the ultimate waterproofing thanks to many technical design choices and features. During the manufacturing process this textile is specifically woven to offer a high-density material that is both durable and lightweight, this means its performance at its best when pitched but can be folded and packed away with ease, it also means the overall weight of the T2R is only ~17kg making it ideal to transport and store without hassle. An outer layer of water repellent ensures any rainfall will simply bead and runoff the flysheet rather than build up and form puddles. All along the stitching and seams have been fully factory taped to secure the interior and offer a watertight seal, all of these designs result in a substantial 4000mm hydrostatic head to offer supreme water resistance during touring usage all around Europe. The contemporary design consists of a subtle yet sleek hex pattern combined with a neutral black and white colourway, this will prevent the awning from disrupting already established aesthetics present in your current camping inventory.
The internal living space of the Movelite T2R is rather compact but sports all of the great features you’d expect for a high-quality brand. Despite its smaller size, the T2R has the opinion to equip a 2 berth inner tent into the clips, this can be side mounted with a door facing outwards rather than towards the front door. This means you can accommodate up to 2 sleepers whilst still having a walkway to your vehicle and out fo the front entrance. This layout is supported by the multiple entrances into the interior, mainly the flysheet door which features a 70/30 split. Moving past this you will notice a similar side door, entering the cowl will reveal the large tunnel-shaped area that is useful for accessing your vehicle and for storing equipment on either side as you can access the cowl from dual side doors. An abundance of mesh can be found throughout the living space, mainly on the doors as a full mesh panel offers superior ventilation and it fully promotes circulation during much hotter weather. To further add to an airy environment, large tinted PVC windows surround the interior to illuminate the area all day long, these can of course be covered up with the toggleable privacy curtains and their tinted design already offers great confidentiality when left unaltered. It’s also worth mentioning that this awning like the other Movelites come with dual beading in the form of 4mm and 6mm meaning you can attach the cowl to different sized awning rails from differing manufacturers.
The Outdoor Revolution Movelite T2R Driveaway Awning is available in three convenient sizing options to cater to a range of campervan or motorhome heights. The Movelite T2R Low version accommodates vehicles with a height ranging from 180cm to 220cm (ORDA2010). For those with a slightly taller setup, the Movelite T2R Mid variant is designed for vehicles with heights between 220cm and 255cm (ORDA2011). The Movelite T2R High version is suitable for taller campervans or motorhomes with heights ranging from 255cm to 305cm (ORDA2012).
