At Purely Outdoors we have broken down this tricky process, all you need to know is the Model and Fitment type your Multivan, Transporter or California has and we'll do the rest. Most VW T5/T6 campervans come with the VW standard C-Rail, however if your transporter doesn't - don't worry - we have included the specific adaptor kits to make life easier.
The popular Fiamma F45 S awning designed for Volkswagen T5 & T6 campervans; with a casing and length for a perfect fit.
Easy to roll out, with the winch handle, versatile and expandable the F45 S awning can be used as standard - an airy shade for the side of your VW camper. Privacy room or sun blocker extensions can be added to give extra privacy or turn your awning into a fully enclosed porch area. An electric winder kit is also available for even easier operation at the touch of a button.
The tough aluminium casing available in either Titanium Grey or Deep Black, and is designed to be a permanent - and perfect - fit onto your motorhome, either as a direct fitment to vehicles with the Volkswagen C Rail or with an adapter kit to suit rails on your T5/T6.
The awnings featured on this page come with installation kits tailored for two distinct VW T5/T6 roof styles. Refer to the details below to determine compatibility with the specific versions of T5/T6 vans these awnings are designed for.
F45S VW - With C-Rail Fitment:
- If your T5 Transporter is equipped with the VW Multivan Roof Rail Prep Kit (identified by the black rail in additional images above), please choose the Fitment: With C-Rail from the selection box above.
- The awning comes complete with a fitting kit that securely fastens to the channel in the VW C-rail. Choose between the Short- or Long-Wheel-Base version based on your preferences, and select either Deep Black or Titanium case colors.
- If you do not currently have the VW Multirail but wish to obtain it, kindly reach out to your local Volkswagen dealer and provide them with the item code "7H1860181AQZU" to order the optional Transporter Roof Rail.
F45S VW - California:
- If you possess the official California roof as well as the California awning rail, please select Vehicle: VW T5 / T6 California & Fitment: California . These awnings are specifically designed to be mounted on the Right Hand side of the van, and there isn't a variant available for the Left Hand side.
- The California awning comes complete with a fitting kit that securely attaches to the accessory bolt points on the California roof. Additionally, you can choose between Deep Black or Titanium Grey case colors for the awning.
F45S & Without C-Rail Adapter Kit:
- If you have a VW T5 / T6 without a VW black C-Rail fitted and wish to mount an F45S to the mounting holes on the roof of the van, then please select Fitment: Without C-Rail and we will include the standard F45S (260 or 300, depending on if your van is SWB or LWB) and the Fiamma 98655-648 fitting bracket. However, if you have a pop-top roof or roof bars fitted, please contact us before ordering with images of your van so we can advise accoridngly.
F45S & Reimo Rail Adapter Kit:
If you have a Reimo rail fitted to your VW T5 / T6 and wish to mount an F45S to your camper, please select Fitment: Reimo Multirail and we will the standard F45S (260 or 300, depending on if your van is SWB or LWB) and the Fiamma 98655Z156 fitting bracket.#
